Japanese fairy tales

Hi! Today I'll write about Japanese fairy tales:)
There are many interesting stories in Japan.
Each of them have some lessons for children who read the stories.
So in Japan, mothers often read the stories for their children before they go to bed.
I like Japanese fairy tales very much:D
In addition, in Penny's class, we had an opportunity to think how to use them in teaching.
So I'd like to introduce most interesting sites we can know about them!!

This site is maybe for kids. However, I think it is easy to understand.
And in this site, there are not only letters but also lovely pictures!
So you can enjoy Japanese fairy tales:)

Please enjoy reading Japanese fairy tales using this site:)
I want many people to know about them more!

  1. Thanks for sharing these Japanese folk tales Mio. I thought the picture in Momotaro when the peach was cut open was hilarious! That really made me smile!
